More fun pictures from Bad Boys Beach Bar in Playa del Carmen. Some familiar faces returning to play with the band including Washboard Bud and Al Radley. Dancing Joe's not missing a step and the Canadians may be having the most fun in the sun. Overall two great nights of great fun and dancing to the music of the Nasty Bastards. The 4th of July Party at Bad Boys Beach Bar included music by the Culture Orphans, the Nasty Bastards, Michael Grady, Barefoot Skinny, the Jam Session. The pot luck was fantastic with Capt Dave's smoked pig and BBQ sauce. The weather couldn't have been better. A great time for everyone.

Bad Boys had several guest musicians playing with the Nasty Bastards Band including blues recording artist Angela Strehli and Dillon from Houston. The band continues to play every Thursday and Saturday night through the low season. Come out and enjoy the fun at Bad Boys Beach Bar.

It looks like Bad Boys got all the sand while other areas are stuck with short beaches. Come for the day and enjoy the beach and great service from the Bad Boys crew.

We celebrated Janna's birthday. Happy Birthday to Janna. Bryant and Debbie from Wildhurst Vineyards in Northern California brought wine. How nice...www.Wildhurst.com. Ken from Boston performed Bob Dylan for us. (See the video) Jack was back with Cocaine. Don't get excited - I'm talking about the song not the powder. Rick and Madalin from Dallas enjoyed the beach and the music. Bob and Cathy brought their friends Sal and Katherine as well as their daughter Courtney and drummer John. Chris Bolister performed. Catch Chris soon...only about another week in Playa. No photos, but rumor is that Joe was playing horse with Kim and Deb.....Whoa!

The full moon in the eastern sky added to the already beautiful view at Bad Boys. It was Tony's birthday and we have to give him credit for keeping up with the half dozen or so tequilas the group bought him. Tony plays electric guitar with the Nasty Bastards Band. Chris Bolister from London joined the band during 4th set. A group of young ladies was celebrating a 40th birthday...but they all looked 29 to me. Come to Bad Boys and enjoy the fun with us.

The night when Jack yodeled at Bad Boys Beach Bar. Thanks Jack - it was a first and video is available. Jack and Kathy are from Prince George in British Columbia. Speaking of video, check out Elliot's drum solo. Jana's parents Bob and Yole are visiting from Salinas CA - the salad bowl of the USA. Thor, from Norway or Wisconsin, sang some Johnny Cash for us during open mic and the Nasty Bastards were rocking as usual.

The night the Man in the Moon and Catherine the Great came to Bad Boys from Frankfurt Germany. It was Al Radley's last night with the Nasty Bastards Band as he returned to Wisconsin for the summer.....well the anticipated summer. Mark and Paula from Dallas came to Bad Boys with Ed. Mark played electric guitar during open mic, but attempts to get him to sing failed. The Nasty Bastards played a great selection of rock and roll music and everyone has a super time.

Another fun night at Bad Boys Beach Bar with the live music of the Nasty Bastards. Logan from Texas played electric guitar with the band. We saw Ed with Katsy from Dallas, Sandy, Deb's mother from Oregon and her friend Kathy came back for another night at Bad Boys. Krissy and Carlos the dancer put on quite a show. Janet's foot is well now so she was on the dance floor once again. Craig and Nicole's son and daughter, Michael and Abbey, won the youngest dancer awards. We won't keep track of who was oldest , but everyone, young and old had a great time at Captain Dave's Bad Boys Bar.

Max, age 14, came back to play with the Nasty Bastards. The Nasty Bastards featured vocalist Aurora with an Amy Winehouse tune Rehab. Chris Bolister sang Brown Eyed Girl with the Nasty Bastards. Chris' family from London came along. Washboard Bud aka Buddy Love is in town and played his washboard during the Open Mic set. (3rd Set) Ashley and Jerry are back in town from their trip to California and Wales. They are ready to move into their new condo as soon as it is complete. Captain Dave is on a diet. Enrique loaned his drumsticks to Luis from the band Los Malandros who sat in with the Nasty Bastards for a couple songs. Deb's mother Sandy and friend Kathy enjoyed the live music. JJ's wife Kim and Joe Colada did the cha cha cha. Everyone enjoyed themselves and had a great time.

The Bomberos Academy instructors finished their week of training new firefighters in Q. Roo by relaxing at Bad Boys. Patrick from New York rapped. Brian - the gringo fire chief - and his wife Eddie enjoyed the success of the academy with friends. Twila sang backup for the Nasty Bastards. 14 year old Max from Minneapolis sat in with the Nasty Bastards on guitar during Open Mic. His dad Kenny sang 'Play that Funky Music' with the band. He promises to do it again on April 5, 2008. Thor sang a couple of his songs from his CD during Open Mic. Chris Bolister's family were in town so he was all dressed up in a tropical floral shirt. Wow Chris, you clean up good. Another night of fun at Captain Dave's Bad Boys Beach Bar.

Another nice crowd at Bad Boys on a Thursday night to listen and dance to the live music of the Nasty Bastards Band. Barefoot Skinny helped out on keyboard for a few songs while JJ sang and danced. Chris Bolister sang. It was the last night for Aurora and Enrique as singles, as they were married on Friday. Twila sang open mic. Jeanean from Oklahoma brought her beautiful daughter Abra. Eddie and Angie Tabor and friends danced. Eddie and I were sporting the new Bad Boys black tee. Ask your bartender or waiter about tees and beer coozies. Ask Aurora or any member of the band about Nasty Bastards tees or CDs. The wall of fame picture I missed? One gal dropping her guys shorts on the dance floor. Way too funny! Needless to say, we all had a fantastic time.

Bad Boys was invaded by the Oklahoma Mafia and vocalist Joe Bug performed with the Nasty Bastards Band. Alabama Jack and Sherry were in town and Jack sang his favorite - Sweet Home Alabama. Big Al and Redneck Steve from Kiddlive.com stopped by for a shot or three. Locals Mike and Chrissy brought friends. A bunch of people bought Bad Boys and Nasty Bastards tees. Carnival Cruise lines double parked in front of the bar again. We're going to talk to them about that. Everyone had a great time!
