Bad Boys Beach Bar
4th of July Party: Captain Dave invites you to the best 4th of July party in Mexico. There will be live music from the Nasty Bastards, the Culture Orphans, Barefoot Skinny and feature performer Grady. That's right, Grady is returning to Playa for the party so you don't want to miss it. Bring a covered dish and eat free, otherwise $10.00 will get you all you can eat.
Captain Dave's on the Beach is now Bad Boys and is the home of the Nasty Bastards Band. Enjoy a friendly atmosphere, warm sea breezes, and a Caribbean view that goes all the way to Cozumel. No shoes, no shirt, no problem. (That goes for the girls too!)
Captain Daves is located on the beach in Playa del Carmen, Mexico and is a popular bar, beach club, restaurant, and hangout for both tourist and locals. The Nasty Bastards play live music for dancing on Thursday and Saturdays from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. They are frequently joined by other
professional and amateur musicians. Bad Boys has an open mic policy. If you play, sing, or do standup come by and let the band know. We love visiting entertainers at Bad Boys.
Bad Boys gets rolling between 9:00 and 10:00 each morning. Come early and choose your beach chair and umbrella. You'll find a great staff of folks to serve you. You won't have to hang around long to become a friend. Don't be suprised to see beach servers carrying two or three cold margaritas on their head. Bad Boys has a well stocked bar and the bartenders will be happy to mix up your favorite cocktail - or let them suprise you with one of theirs. While you're there, be sure to order up a great burger, Mexican snack, or one of Bad Boys southern-cooked specials.
